Monarch 1131 & 1136 Labels

Purpose-built exclusively for Avery Dennison Monarch label guns, these labels use a permanent acrylic adhesive that sticks firmly to paper, cardboard, plastic wraps, and glass. Both feature security slits to prevent tampering or price-switching if someone tries to peel them off.

Label Sizes

• Monarch 1131 (Single Line) — 20mm × 11mm — prints one line of up to 8 characters, ideal for a single date, price, or code.
• Monarch 1136 (Two Line) — 20mm × 16.5mm — taller than the 1131, allowing two lines of up to 8 characters each to print simultaneously, ideal for dual-tracking such as a “Was” and “Now” price, or a date alongside a batch code.

Varieties

• Best Before / Use By — Pre-printed in bold red text along the top border on a white background, with a clear print area below for the date. Best Before suits shelf-stable goods, baked items, and dry goods where quality (not safety) may decline over time. Use By is for perishables like fresh meat, dairy, and prepared deli meals, where strict food safety compliance applies.
• White / Red — Completely blank, solid white or Fluro red labels with no pre-printed text, allowing your text to print dead center for maximum contrast. White is a versatile blank slate for pricing, markdowns, or internal tracking. Red is designed to grab attention for clearances, big price drops, or urgent batch warnings.

Please Note

The permanent adhesive works best when applied at room temperature (above 10°C). For items already frozen or stored in deep sub-zero conditions, use our Freezer Grade adhesive variant instead to prevent labels from popping off.
